Spinach and kale are great anti-inflammatory vegetables. When they are combined with other anti-inflammatory compounds found in turmeric and ginger you have a powerful smoothie. Remember it is inflammation of joints and muscles that are the major cause of pain.
1 cup of frozen kale
1 cup of frozen spinach
½ cup of frozen pineapples
½ t of turmeric powder
1 T of grated ginger root
1 ½ cup of green tea or almond milk
Put all ingredients in a blender such as a smoothie maker and blend until smooth. Might need to add more tea or water in order to get the right consistency.
